Monday 02 May - Arrival at Lope de Vega College
| All students arrived safely and punctually at 18:00 sharp! After welcome addresses by the Head teachers Doña Áurea Gonzalez and Don Max Bauer the students went home with their host families. |
Tuesday 03 May - Alicante
Wednesday the students went together with their teachers Harald Riegel, Thomas Becker and Eva Poxleitner as well as Beverley Round from Lope de Vega to Alicante. They went to the port, the castel Santa Barbara and the Archeological Museum MARQ. In the afternoon they played football: The female team played 2:2, the male team from Germany lost 6:2 against Spain.

Wednesday 04 May - Valencia
Wednesday we still could use the bus fro Germany and went all to valencia. First we visited the old town centre, thereafter we went to the City of Arts and Science. Back to Lope de Vega College at 20:00 we still were singing, as you can see on the short videos.
Thursday 05 May - Villajoyosa
Thursday we went by bus and tram to Villajoyosa, where we visited the Museum House La Barbera dels Aragonés and the Chocolate factory Valor. Back to the College we had lunch together with the Spanish students and thereafter went to the Cable Ski, where 15 German and 12 Spanish students and Mrs Evi Poxleitner tried their best not to fall into the cold water with medusa waiting.
Friday 06 May - Benidorm
Friday morning we first had an introduction to the {WikidevegA}. After that we went to the old part of Benidorm, where we looked for the hints to determine eight letters, forming the word "Benidorm". On the samll beach beneath the chapell we than formed the letters. In the afternoon the Spanish students joined us at Poniente Beach, and we had some fun playing beach volleyball. Germany won all matches....

Saturday 07 May and Sunday 08 May - Weekend with guest families
Monday 09 May - Departure
Monday morning all students arrived with their luggage at school. We first worked for some time on the Wiki, mainly adding some information to the personal pages (see links on top of this page). Some students went to see the Benidorm fire brigade, others visited classes and also we had two brief meetings between the students form both colleges working on the Religion Project in our website on our WIKIdeVEGA@ZUM.de.
After short speeches by Doña Áurea and Thomas Becker the farewell started: diploma were handed over, songs were sung, we had one more lunch together, and before they got on the bus even some tears flew.....
